Quick recap

My trip down South was very needed and I feel a bit rejuvenated to face finals next week. I didn't do much in the way of homework, which I'm only sort of regretting now as I wasn't prepared for class tonight. I'm currently doing more laundry and repacking my bags for my next trip. I'm hoping my hips hold out through all this driving!

A few things:
-Why is it the biggest bugs ever have to hit the windshield when driving 85 mph? Now I have to get the gut juice off tomorrow morning before I add more innards to the windshield.
-I love, love, love finding someone who is driving with a fuzz buster as that means as long as they aren't braking, I'm not braking.
-No one informed me that when it's really hot outside, and you have leather seats, you still get a little wet on the backside due to the lovely leather.
-I was not a pioneer for a reason: two words, air conditioning!
-Zions is very beautiful, especially when it's overcast and sprinkling just a tad. Makes riding in the car and getting out for pictures pain free.
-It is possible to lay out in the sun in St. George weather, but a pool must be very close by.
-I'm very grateful for lounging time, where good friends can just sit around and do nothing.
-I loved the comfy bed in my hotel room (and the fabulous mini bottles of shampoo, conditioner and mouthwash that were continuously replaced after I kept putting them in my bag).
-The new car Josephine performed like a dream for its first road trip (now if it can last for its second one so soon after the first).
-Six CD player a definite perk when driving 3.5 hours (a necessity when driving tomorrow's 7.0 hours)
-After playing with Mahoney for three days, I still really, really want a dog.
-I am so blessed to have such a great friend!
