My List of Things That Must Go

When I drive to work every morning at 6:00 am (today was a bit later, oops) I listen to X96. I enjoy the banter between the three DJs and even though I may not agree with everything they say, I enjoy listening to the humor and extreme news they provide for my daily commute.

On Wednesdays, they do a 'Thing That Must Go' list; one week is the listeners list, one week is their list. So, in honor of it being Wednesday, and my devotion to X96, I have created my own list of things that must go (it also has to do with getting up really late this morning and having to drive in insane traffic to get to work).

Jo's List of Things That Must Go:

• Those license plate holders that say "My Grandkids are cuter than yours". Who cares! Plus, beauty is in the eye of the beholder so of course you're going to think that.
• Drivers that don't get out of the left lane when the car behind them is right on their bumper. It's the fast lane people, MOVE.
• The student that inevitably asks me every day "Are we going to do something fun today?" The answer never changes ("No, it's going to be dull and boring) so stop asking.
• Putting make-up on, shaving, brushing your teeth WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY. Never a safe thing to do, I don't care how great your peripheral vision is.
• Whipping in and out of traffic on the freeway just so you can be at the freeway exit 30 seconds faster than everyone else getting off at the same exit.
• Clicking your pen while reading, talking, sitting, staring. For those of us who have uber hearing due to being a teacher, it is annoying the hell out of us and it needs to stop
• Talking to the strangers around you while sitting in the dry sauna. I am there to sweat out the toxins people, not to make friends. It's 120 degrees in there; do you really have the energy to talk? If so, maybe you need to work out some more and THEN come in to the dry sauna.
