Getting Older

This is the number I am today and I'm not sure how I feel about it. I usually am fine with getting older, loved the 20's, and really enjoyed 30-32, but now, I have issues. I have no idea why; maybe because it's two odd numbers together, which is weird as it's never bothered me before. Heck, I like the idea of turning 35, but 33 is just bugging.

Even though I am turning this heinous number, I must acknowledge how blessed I am. I have the greatest family and friends who never fail to support me when I get older, and who always make me realize how loved I am and again, how very blessed I am. I am so very, very grateful for all of them.

My mom especially rocks as she always has made a point to make my day a special day, even though it's so close to Christmas. Fabulous example: she spent most of the day with me yesterday, in the blizzard, ensuring I was able to have a great 33 day by traveling to food, to store after store, and then called to wish me a happy 33rd again. She's working at the Salt Lake temple all day with Papa Don so I'm hoping she has a great day as they have 88 weddings today and she may not have enough stamina to smile for that many. :)

As I write this, maybe 33 isn't that bad, but I'm holding out the end all verdict until I've been able to ruminate with the number for a bit longer than a morning.

Happy birthday!
I don't know... I kinda like 33. Maybe because it was my brother's high school football number? Ha ha. I also like the two 3's next to each other. 33 will be a great year for you - I just know it! :)
Merry Christmas!

Okay, first off...I'm glad I read your blog in a feed reader cuz I can't read a thing on your beautifully designed page.

Second, talk to me when you turn 40 if you want to complain about age...and then I'll tell you to talk to me when your 50. Who knew I was so much older than you?
