Don't you love what students say to you. When I was pregnant, one of my students asked "are you pregnant." I said yes. They then replied with "so you are not normally so fat." Got to love them. At least mine was a 3rd grader.
Such honesty. At least it's good for a blog post and a laugh. My grandma would always make us go curl our hair because we weren't pretty or dressy enough if our hair was straight. You're just lucky it's natural!
