Labor Day Weekend

Worked the graveyard, came home and chatted with a boy, slept three hours, packed and drove down to St. George. Oh, and had a 30 minute date (turned into a 50 minute date) in Provo on the way down. Great guy, but apparently didn't seem impressed with me as I haven't heard from him since.

Story of my life. That's the first annoyance: stupid boys who know what you look like, chat with you on the phone but once they meet you in person, they are disappointed to see I'm not really something else. Dorks.
St.George was a blast as always. It's so fun to see Jazzy and to just get away from the city. We went to '500 Days of Summer' Sat. night and it a definite must see. The dance scene is the best.

Sunday we were heathens and went to Toquerville Falls. Major off roading, which I LOVED, to get to some pretty falls with a swim hole. However, everyone else was there as well and we felt a bit out of place without our bikinis, beers and tattoos. Oh well, maybe next time.
The day ended with some late night Settlers of Catan, which I must admit I won the first game, even though I haven't played it in about six years and have never really known how to play it to begin with. Thanks to Jazzy and Charlie for having patience with me. I told it's like when I play poker; I have NO idea how to play, but somehow win whenever I try to play.

Now back to reality. Too bad I don't have much planned in regard to lessons for tomorrow. Maybe I can take the kiddies outdoors to write a nature essay.

Cute Mahoney, who loved the falls and mud a tad bit more than we did.
