So my friend Jazzy tagged me and I figured I should fill it out as it will put something new on my blog. I've been so involved in studying and working that I haven't had a lot of different things to comment about lately. Well, I did have a crazy dream this morning that I could write about (had to do with living on campus at the U with three other roommates which is crazy as I'm already done with my undergrad days of having crazy roommates) but that will have to wait until another day.
On to the tag.....
20 Years Ago: I was 12 1/2 years old living in Orem in our house with the really cool upstairs bathroom (it was huge and in the shape of an upside down 'L'). My best friend was Geralyn and I was involved with American Ambassadors, doing modeling type stuff with singing and acting.
10 Years Ago: It was 1998 and I was on my mission in California. At this time of the year I was in McKinleyville which was the best area ever. I was there for seven months and loved the beach, the people and the investigators there. I came home in Oct. and then went back to visit the area before Christmas the same year.
5 Years Ago: Hmm, 2003. I drove 3000 miles and moved to Massachusetts, specifically a quaint town called Newton. I worked two weeks at Boston University, it was hell, switched jobs to working for Wachovia and waitressing at night. Went to Maui, HI that year with dear friends and switched to the last job I had out there, working for Liberty Mutual in their corporate office.
3 Years Ago: 2005: Helped two friends with their planning of their weddings and purchased my first home, my cute condo in Sandy. Switched working in Magna to So. Salt Lake (love working with the lower economic individuals).
1 Year Ago: Applied and was accepted to grad school after having passed (amazingly I might add) the GRE. Reached my year mark of working for the hospital and played as much as I could before I started Grad classes in August. Oh, and was diagnosed with the annoying diagnosis of having Celiac disease and Lactose intolerance.
So Far This Year: I have finished 2 1/2 semesters of grad school, and I must brag that my GPA is a 3.9. Yes, I'm being conceited, but I feel I should brag as I've been working a full time job and a part-time job as I've been going to school, so I'm tooting my own horn (heck if I don't who will). Other than the all consuming work and school, I was able to go to L.A. to see 'Wicked', haven't gotten sick this year at all and I'm going to CO next week.
Yesterday: Pretty boring. Got off work at 7:00 am, went to my parents' house to walk the dog and then went and picked up the parents from the airport. Chatted with mom for a bit then went home and slept until 4:30 pm to recover from having been up since the previous morning. Then I did a study group with Funaki until midnight (finals are in two weeks).
Today: I wasn't a good girl because I slept until 11:00 am and then have been organizing and reading and watching my DVD's.
Tomorrow: I'm working in the morning, meeting with my trainer for an hour and then yes, having another study group.
In the Next Year: One can never know, but I'm hoping to walk with my M.Ed. in Instructional Design and Educational Technology with my mom there to see it. I will hopefully have saved enough money to go to Capri for my graduation present to myself, plus have my counter tops changed in my kitchen or my flooring done. Oh, and I hope to have a new killer paying job that allows me to only work the one job.

A 3.9 is awesome! Adam always liked to tell everyone he had a 4.0 in college. Mind you, the only class he took was golf, but he doesn't care. A 4.0 is a 4.0. We'll see if he can keep it up!
Hey, you deserve to be proud of that 3.9. And oyu deserve a lot of the credit for my 3.7 or whatever it is. Without you I probably would have forgotten to turn anything in....
JO - that was a little fun trip down memory lane...So where is Capri? I think I've heard of it... EM
I know people hate tags, but I love them. Especially since I only know you through blogging. Yeah, I took the GRE once, and I barely survived. That was one hard bugger. And 3.9?! That is insane! Way to go!
Thanks for doing that, Jo. It was fun to read. And thanks for not commenting on all the typing mistakes I noticed after I posted mine. What is in CO next week? I'm very excited for our pool, air conditioning, Batman weekend coming up! And a 3.9? You are my acedemic hero!
