Continuing with yesterday's recap: After 64 oz of water I then took Trax with Rossi and then we met Funaki for some cheap but really good food and proceeded to class. At the end of class I tried really hard not to melt down right there as I don't know where I'm going to find five hours every day to stay 'caught up on the reading' for Monday's class. I haven't even been to Thursday's class yet! There goes the feeling of relaxation I had a week ago. It was nice knowing everyone.
Today: tiring as usual (try presenting all day long continuously while monitoring and controlling your audience) but this group of youth is 10 times better than last years! I have new responsibilities (being the team leader) and have to co-teach, blecckkkk, but I keep looking towards that goal. Oh, and I looked good again today; more heels and a dress, go me.
It's 7:45 and I've returned from the gym, just showered and may have to take a sleepy pill so I can crash in about 30 minutes. Ahh, the joys of getting up at 5:00 am and going nonstop.
Still trying to enjoy the process; may have to revisit the friend with the leather couch and reassess what the whole process was as I've already forgotten.

First of all...I love that dog in the picture, I wish he was mine.
Second...it was fun to see you last weekend.
Third...I actually do hair on occasion and would absolutely LOVE to do yours!! You tell me when you're ready and we'll work something out between our crazy schedules.
Lastly...way to go for the professional appearance, I am determined not to be a sloppy/lazy teacher (you know they're out there by the dozens).
Kudos to you for dressing up and starting the year off with a bang! I'm sure you looked great.
Sorry to hear about the intense school schedule though. You only have one year left, right?!
See you maybe this weekend?
WHY would your veep say something like that? Idiot! Your posts re. teaching sound similar to mine! I am sooo exhausted every day after school, which usually lasts right up until the last few weeks of school. The only difference? I'm at a year-round school so only have 6 weeks during the summer to recoup.
