I realized today that I really, really do not like shopping as it takes too long and then you are stuck having to deal with rush hour traffic.
All I had to do was pick up items for a baby gift for a coworker (one of the perks (said with sarcasm) of being the team leader; I get to organize things) and then get out. I don't know where baby stuff is as I don't have one, and so I got really irritated when the sales clerk looked at me strangely when I asked where one can find pacifiers and baby wash. Umm, not everyone in the world knows where to find that stuff. I usually just buy clothes for my cousins when they have kids, not the extra things needed to fill a 'basket full of newborn baby things'.
So, the irritation level was already high by the time I got to the check out, where someone was arguing over the price of their item, and then in the car. Oh, and if I had gone to my happy place, it wouldn't have been that bad, but since I didn't (I needed it to be cheap cheap) I should have known it would be a freaking nightmare!
Not one for road rage, but it's a good thing I was going to the gym afterward as I had a lot of aggression to work out.
I'm done shopping 'outside' for awhile; thank goodness for the Internet!

We just got back from a pleasant trip to our Happy Place. It's unfortunate that you couldn't get baby crap there as well.
P.S. Aren't you so excited to go back to class tomorrow night?
