Plumbing, bleck!

This is my sink in my second bathroom. It's been leaking for months, and at first I didn't care because I don't pay the water bill (it's in my HOA people, why would I worry about it), but then I started to care when I was getting a rust ring around the drain area.

I tried to be proactive, went to Home Depot about two weeks ago and asked what I do to fix it, and the guy looked at me like I was retarded. Aren't they supposed to be helpful to those who are helpless, regardless if I'm a woman?

So he said I had to unscrew the handle and take out the washer and bring it in so we knew which one to replace it with. Sounds simple. He even said there were 'a ton of videos on YouTube to tell you how to do it'.

Whatever Home Depot punk.

This is what I removed:
I have a single handle faucet, and ALL the videos on YouTube are for double handle faucets!!!!! I've removed the handle, but have no idea what I do now!
Oh well, no one, including me, can now wash their hands or their face or their teeth in this sink as the water is off and apparently now is the handle.

At least it no longer leaks.

Yeah me for being kind to the environment.

Now I need to be kind to my bathroom and fix it!

I so need a handyman to live with me to he/she can fix all this crap.

You need a socket wrench to get that bolt out!
