Rugby, with the Tongans

After I spent the day at work, with huge help from Leilani, trying to organize my classroom and pretend I'm more than ready to face a bunch of bratty teenagers in a week, I tagged along with Leilani to watch her husband's rugby game. Apparently there's a huge Tongan rugby week thing going on this week in Murray and there are quite a few tournaments/games going on in the next three days. Leilani of course went to support the hubby; I went to support Sofi as well, but really I was there to scope out the scene.

Sofi's game didn't begin until seven, and we arrived at five, so we were able to watch two matches prior to Sofi's. Hmm, can I say yummy. And hello beautiful people, why haven't I ever attended one of these things before.

Sofi's team is newly put together (shout out to the North Side Tigers), it's some professional league thing, and they played really well for only having practiced as a team for three weeks. Even though our backsides are a bit sore from having sat on wood bleachers for 3.5 hours, I quite enjoyed the experience.

I may have to enjoy the experience again tomorrow and go with Leilani, you know, to support Sofi playing again in his tournament. That, and someone on the Provo Steelers team is single so of course I may as well support his team.

I'm generous like that, in my support.

We are glad to see that you are so generous in your support of others. It is nice to have a hobby. Support away.

You might want to invest in a bleacher cushion if you will be doing a lot of supporting, to try and save your back and all.
