I am not good with water and phones apparently.
I dropped my phone into a cup of water that was sitting in my car cup holder yesterday. Habit to put the phone in the cup holder.
Rarely is there anything IN the cup holder. As soon as my fingertips hit water, I yanked out the phone, but......
It was TOO FREAKING LATE!!!!
It just blinks, and blinks, the Verizon logo. When I pointed that out to someone, they stated I had shorted the circuit. YA THINK??????
Goodbye sentimental texts.
Goodbye pictures of the hotty boy Christopher, and all the fun misc. pics on there.
Goodbye notes I kept on the phone to remind me what I can't eat, what my work codes are, authors I want to read....
Goodbye whatever new texts I have received since 3:30pm yesterday as they don't save or transfer over when you get a new phone.
It's 7:15 am and the phone is still.........
Blinking.
Blinking that the powers of the universe are laughing at me because I wanted to wait to get a new phone until January when all the new ones would be cheaper and have the glitches figured out.
Guess we all know what I'm doing today.

Did you try putting it in rice overnight? It worked for my washed and dryed ipod.
At least you didn't flush it down the toilet... I know someone who has done that.
